The Babycheck Blood Pregnancy test detects the pregnancy hormone hCG in blood and gives a positive result in just 5 to 10 minutes, when the hCG level is higher than 25mIU/mL.
To use your test, you will need to use the single use lancet provided to obtain a finger prick blood sample, collected with the small pipette. After adding the blood sample to the test device you add 4 drops of buffer solution and then wait 5 to 10 minutes before reading your result.
- one line means you are not pregnant
- two lines means you are pregnant
A blood pregnancy test can often detect pregnancy earlier than urine based tests and can be used at any time of the day.
The Babycheck Blood Pregnancy test shows greater than 98% agreement when compared with a laboratory reference method for measuring hCG in blood.
